SBF's MAP Initiative
The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly disrupted global supply chains and impacted the flow of goods and services. As companies recover and explore new ways of growth, SBF has launched the MAP initiative in April 2021 to provide our members with a guided journey for economic recovery and transformation.
We welcome companies in the logistics sector, or any company with supply chain operations, to join our Second Run of MAP. SBF members will be given priority to join any of our MAP activities.
To benefit more SBF members across various sectors, SBF has also opened Stage M of the MAP initiative to all sectors. Due to limited capacity, early registration is encouraged for this complimentary stage.
What is MAP?
Analogous to journeying to the destination with the help of a map, SBF is working with DesignSingapore Council (Dsg), GIC, Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), Institute for Human Resource Professionals (IHRP), Institute of Technical Education (ITE), Korn Ferry, Republic Polytechnic (RP), Singapore Polytechnic (SP), and The Thought Collective to create pathways to guide companies through every stage of recovery and transformation.

How does MAP help companies?
The MAP is designed to achieve three outcomes:
- Break down business transformation into modular steps and encourage more companies to embark on the journey
- Address business-specific concerns through customised journey of change to suit companies of differing sizes and readiness
- Create flexible transformation pathways that allow companies to enter and exit at each stage
Our pilot run of MAP has benefited more than 500 participants from 300 companies across all sectors. To find out how some companies have tapped on the MAP initiative for their business transformation journey, please download our report here.
