Mr Kok Ping Soon is Chief Executive Officer of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), the apex business chamber championing the interests of Singapore’s business community in trade, investment and industrial relations matters. SBF represents more than 32,000 companies, as well as key local and foreign business chambers.

Prior to his current appointment, Ping Soon was Chief Executive of the Government Technology Agency of Singapore (GovTech), the lead agency driving Singapore’s Smart Nation initiative and public sector digital transformation. He also held various positions in the Ministry of Manpower, National Security Co-ordination Secretariat, Ministry of Trade & Industry, Singapore Tourism Board, Contact Singapore (CS), and Economic Development Board (EDB). He spent six years in the United States working for CS and EDB.

He serves on the Board of ACRA, SBF Holdings, SBF Connect, NUS-ISS and is a member of the NIE Council.

In his role as Chief Policy Officer, Musa leads the Advocacy and Policy Division, a team of policy, planning, and research staff that drives SBF’s work in advancing the interests of Singapore businesses by shaping policies both locally and internationally. Musa is responsible for SBF’s overall advocacy efforts, working closely with businesses, trade associations, foreign chambers, and government agencies. In his role Musa oversees the SME Committee, Fair Tenancy Industry Committee (FTIC) , Centre for the Future of Trade and Investment (CFOTI) and Centre for Enterprise Financing Advisory (CEFA).

As Chief Operating Officer, he also oversees the Future Ready Business Accelerator Programme (FRBAP), driving integration and better coordination across SBF programme offices and horizontal job clusters. He supports the CEO in enhancing operational excellence, and ensuring internal strategy and resource optimisation.

Prior to joining SBF in Nov 2023, Musa spent more than 17 years in the Singapore Public Service in various organisations including the Monetary Authority of Singapore, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Manpower. He was most recently Senior Director of the Futures, Strategy and Plans Division at the Ministry of Trade and Industry where he drove strategic planning efforts for the Singapore economy and took on various roles including serving as secretary to the Future Economy Council led by DPM Heng, being a member of the National Wage Council from 2021 to 2023 and leading MTI’s efforts under the Forward Singapore exercise.

Annie leads the development of SBF's partnership strategies and initiatives to build mutually beneficial partnerships with a diverse set of organisations for Singapore to become a globally competitive net-zero economy, and increased value of SBF as the Apex Business Chamber.

As the head of SBF's Strategic Partnerships & Platforms Division, which comprises the Strategic Partnerships Department and the Strategic Platforms Department, Annie oversees the conceptualisation to execution of key events organised by SBF to achieve business outcomes and deliver an engaging participants’ experience.

Before her current role, Annie served as the Executive Director, overseeing SBF's business activities related to China and the North Asia region, and managed SBF's global events and partnerships. She played a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of SBF's renowned flagship business platforms, including the Singapore Apex Business Summit (SABS®) and the Singapore Regional Business Forum (SRBF®). She also led Singapore's participation in national-level trade fairs and exhibitions in China and overseas business missions to China and the North Asia region.

Annie holds a Master of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Yee Fung leads the Smart Technologies and Sustainability Division to drive platform and programme development to help companies leverage on digital and smart technologies for business growth and transformation; and assist companies in implementing their sustainability plans.

Prior to joining SBF, Yee Fung spent more than 20 years in the public service where he took on a range of roles, from working directly with companies on their growth plans in account management roles, to facilitating their overseas expansion plans while stationed in Indonesia. In his most recent role, he led programme development work in EnterpriseSG to support the uplifting of digitalisation-related capabilities in enterprises.

In her dual leadership role as Chief Social Sustainability Officer at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and CEO of SBF Foundation, Su-Yin champions SBF’s social sustainability and corporate purpose agenda while leading SBF Foundation’s efforts to strengthen partnerships between businesses and communities in support of inclusive and sustainable development. She plays a key role in aligning philanthropic and social impact initiatives with SBF’s mission of enabling businesses to contribute meaningfully to society.

Su-Yin brings a distinguished track record in Singapore’s philanthropy and social impact landscape, with deep expertise in grant-making, fundraising, donor stewardship and cross-sector collaboration. Prior to joining SBF, she served as Chief Executive Officer of the Tan Chin Tuan Foundation, where she led impactful grant-making and programmes across Singapore and the ASEAN region while fostering partnerships across the people, private and public sectors. Additionally, her leadership at Nanyang Technological University saw her oversee Alumni Engagement, Annual Giving and Donor Stewardship, where she seeded award-winning initiatives including NTU’s inaugural Service Week, Giving Day and Best Foot Forward campaigns.

A strong advocate for charity governance and transparency, Su-Yin was a founding judge of the Charity Governance Awards, contributed to enhancements to the Code of Charities, and continues to serve on several non-profit boards, including the National Council of Social Service. In recognition of her contributions to the sector, she received the Leaders of Good (Adult) award at the 2023 President’s Volunteerism & Philanthropy Awards.

Julia spearheads the Singapore Business Federation’s (SBF) Human Capital agenda and Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs) Capability Development. She oversees strategy and execution across skills development, workforce transformation, and progressive employer practices, while enabling TACs to support business transformation across people, technology, sustainability, and internationalisation.

She brings over 20 years of leadership experience in industry engagement, enterprise programmes, and workforce transformation. As Assistant Chief Executive at Workforce Singapore (WSG), she led national initiatives including the Skills Frameworks, Jobs Transformation Maps, Career Conversion Programmes, and the SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package. Julia is deeply committed to helping businesses implement targeted workforce strategies and solutions aligned with business priorities — strengthening workforce capabilities and competitiveness amid global shifts.

Tai Chew oversees the Mid-Career Pathways Programme, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Business Institute and the Jobs Development Partner Programme.

Tai Chew has spent more than 12 years in SBF as a member of the senior management team where he oversaw the Global Asia Hub Programme, Sustainability Development Business Group, Global Business Division (ASEAN) and Human Capital Division.

Prior to joining SBF, Tai Chew was the Group Director, Technology Business, in International Enterprises (IE) Singapore (f.n.a Trade Development Board, n.k.a Enterprise SG). In his 25-year stay in IE Singapore, he held many senior positions in business and support areas, including Industry Development Group (overseeing Technology and ICT sectors), Enterprise Group (overseeing Customer Service Centre. SME Services, Web Channel and Information Resource Centre), Trade Promotion Group (promoting Free Trade Agreements) and Chief Information Officer. In addition, he also served as Vice President of TDB Holdings Pte Ltd which was responsible for overseeing all subsidiaries under TDB and held Board Directorship in subsidiary companies. He also served as the Centre Director in IE Singapore’s Los Angeles office.

Wei-Chieh leads a team at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF)'s International Business Division covering Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, Oceania and the Latin American regions. At SBF, Wei-Chieh’s main role is to assist companies in their internationalisation journey, from building awareness of target markets to facilitating their establishment in those markets. The work of his team also involves developing an enabling ecosystem comprising counterpart organisations that can support Singapore companies’ global expansion.

Wei-Chieh started his career in financial services and M&A advisory for clients in various industries. He later joined growth-oriented SMEs such as a South African luxury retail group, a local group of diversified companies, as well as an automotive aftermarket company headquartered in Singapore. His roles focused on working closely with top management, participating in strategy formulation, and then spearheading projects to set them on their chosen evolutionary trajectories.

Wei-Chieh graduated with a Master of Arts in Strategy and International Management from The University of St. Gallen and a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University. He is also a Chartered Accountant (Singapore).

Samantha leads a team at the International Business Division at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), covering Africa, the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Europe, and America. Her responsibilities include assisting companies in navigating complexities of international expansion, facilitating business development and establishment in new markets. Samantha’s team also cultivates a supportive ecosystem with government entities, multilateral organisations, and corporates to facilitate global ventures for companies.

Samantha garnered extensive experience in driving international business growth while working with the Singapore and New Zealand government trade enterprises. She also helmed senior management roles driving internationalisation and profitability in two Singaporean corporate groups in the Energy Infrastructure sector. Besides her core expertise, Samantha explores Digital Marketing and NFT creation, volunteering her services to Non-Profit Organisations.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from NUS and a Professional Certification in Digital Marketing from SMU.

Peng Kwang (PK) leads the Centre for the Future of Trade and Investment team (CFOTI) within the Advocacy and Policy Division in SBF. Peng Kwang is responsible for driving CFOTI’s vision which aims to advance global trade by strengthening the trade and investment capability, capacity and the creation of an inclusive, sustainable and future ready trade community ecosystem of professional practitioners, thought leaders and officials.

Prior to joining SBF, Peng Kwang comes with 30 years of working experience in the food nutrition, consumer, healthcare, ingredients and plant protein industries across functions including general management, omni trade channels, digital & performance marketing, consumer insights, innovation, regulatory, supply chain and manufacturing in MNCs, SMEs and start-ups for both local and regional roles. He held many senior leadership roles as CEO, Regional Director and Country Manager in companies including Nestle, Coca-Cola, Givaudan and Auric Pacific. Most recently, he was the Strategic Advisor at Growthwell Foods after serving as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer.

Cheryl is one of the pioneers at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). She was a key staff who assisted with the set-up of SBF in 2002 and has since contributed over two decades of dedicated service to the Federation. Currently, she helms SBF's Membership and Board Secretariat Division, driving membership growth and engagement, strengthening member value and services, and supporting governance and alignment with the SBF Council.

Over her tenure at SBF, Cheryl has held leadership responsibilities spanning membership, finance, administration, governance and corporate services, leading key transformation initiatives that strengthened the Federation's financial management, operational resilience and governance framework.

Before joining SBF, Cheryl spent six years at the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF), culminating in her appointment as Divisional Director, where she headed both the Member Relations Department and the Research Institute. She led membership development initiatives and oversaw employer-focused surveys, wage and benefits benchmarks, collective agreements and other business reference publications, ensuring their industry relevance, adoption and commercial success.

Prior to that, Cheryl served at the Ministry of Labour (MOL, now known as Ministry of Manpower) for six years, where she progressed from Labour Officer Grade 10 to Grade 9. Her appointments included Head of Publicity and Information at the Work Permit Department, Senior Labour Inspector at the Labour Inspectorate, and responsibility for the Public Service 21 and labour policy portfolios at Ministry headquarters.

With over three decades of experience spanning government, employer representation and business federation leadership, Cheryl continues to play a pivotal role in strengthening SBF's membership community, advancing organisational excellence, and supporting the Federation's long-term growth and impact.

Peggy oversees SBF's Corporate Services Division, which brings together the organisation's Human Resources, Finance and Administration functions to strengthen organisational effectiveness and provide integrated support for SBF's strategic priorities. She leads the division's efforts in talent and organisational development, financial stewardship, governance, and corporate administration, helping to build a responsive and future-ready corporate services capability that enables SBF to better serve the business community. Peggy brings close to 25 years of experience in HR and Strategic Planning across sectors including healthcare, maritime, defence and the arts.

Prior to joining SBF, Peggy was the Head HR of Arts House Limited. In this role, she led the transformation of HR and IT solutioning to improve the capability and engagement of employees across multiple sites.

Peggy graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore.

Chin Ann leads the SBF’s Information Technology Division. His main roles are to develop and execute SBF’s digitalisation strategy, oversee IT programmes and operations, uphold standards in IT governance and cybersecurity, and enhance digital literacy of SBF officers. He also collaborates with other trade associations and chambers (TACs) to build a digital TAC ecosystem and adopt digital technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Prior to joining SBF, Chin Ann worked in the Public Sector for more than 25 years, where he served as Chief Information Officer in the Ministry of Defence and Public Service Division, and led teams in achieving the digitalisation goals of public agencies.

Chin Ann graduated with a Master of Engineering (EEE) from the Imperial College London, and has a Master of Science (Management of Technology) from the MIT Sloan School of Business. He is a Fellow of the Singapore Computer Society.

Carolina heads the Marketing & Communications Division, where she takes a holistic approach to branding, marketing communications, and media relations. She focuses on aligning strategies to drive value creation for the organisation and the broader industry.

With over two decades of experience, Carolina previously held a country leadership role at Lendlease, where she oversaw strategic and operational marketing, brand governance, and public relations across diverse asset groups.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree from the University of Singapore.

Mabel leads the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) Business Institute which aims to help SBF members and the wider business community build capabilities and achieve inclusive and quality-driven growth. The Learn@SBF Business Institute focuses on 4 key areas: Internationalisation, Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG), Digitalisation, and Business Operations.

Mabel has spent more than 17 years in SBF managing member relations, members’ outreach activities and currently heads the SBI.

Prior to joining SBF, Mabel had spent more than 10 years at the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) looking after training and membership.
