ASEAN Business Advisory Council (Singapore)
Aligned with the Chairmanship of ASEAN, Singapore held the Chairmanship of ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) in 2018. The ASEAN BAC was inaugurated in April 2003 following the decision of the ASEAN leaders at the 7th ASEAN Summit in Bandar Seri Bengawan, Brunei Darussalam on 5 - 6 November 2001. The ASEAN BAC is mandated by the ASEAN leaders as the official ASEAN linkage to provide private sector feedback and guidance to boost ASEAN's effort towards economic integration, to identify priority areas for consideration by the ASEAN leaders, and to provide policy recommendations to the ASEAN leaders.
The Singapore Business Federation is appointed by the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Singapore to perform the role of the national secretariat for ASEAN BAC (Singapore), in providing support for the works of ASEAN BAC (Singapore) Council Members.

ASEAN Business Awards (ABA)
The ASEAN Business Awards aim to focus the spotlight on promising ASEAN companies, and acknowledge them as role models for other ASEAN companies to emulate. Nomination for ABA 2022 has closed on 12 October 2022, and winners will be announced at the Gala Night on 9 November 2022, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
ASEAN Business and Investment Summit
The ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) is the region’s major annual gathering, bringing together world leaders, ASEAN leaders, company CEOs, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss how the region’s most pressing issues are being tackled, as well as to explore ways to ensure that the benefits of ASEAN’s thriving economy are shared equally and sustainably.
The official launching of ABIS 2022 was held on June 29, 2022. It was presided over by H.E Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce and Chair of ASEAN Economic Ministers. High ranking officials from relevant Ministries, Embassies, Local and International Chamber of Commerce, and Development partners also witnessed this auspicious occasion.
This year, the ABIS 2022 will be held from 9 to 10 November 2022 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
