ABOUT CAREER CONVERSION PROGRAMME

SBF has been appointed by Workforce Singapore (WSG) as the Programme Manager for the Career Conversion Programme (CCP) on the following professionals.

  • Advanced Manufacturing Engineer/ Assistant Engineers and Operators (CCP-AM)
  • Internationalisation Professionals (CCP-I)
  • Sustainability Professionals (CCP-S)

The CCP aims to support companies by alleviating risks as they train and develop mid-career talents to take on new jobs, this allows companies to expand their search for talents who does not fit 100% into the role. In addition, companies could also tap on this programme to reskill existing employees to take on a new role.

PROGRAMMES

CCP- Advanced Manufacturing Engineer/ Assistant Engineers and Operators (CCP-AM)

With the next wave of technology driving efficiency across operations, companies are adopting more technologies in their manufacturing facility in bid to stay competitive. The CCP-AM aims to help companies to hire and train new employees to take on new roles or reskill existing employees to take on better roles.

CCP-AM is offered in three modalities:

  • Place and Train (3 months - Rank and File / 6 months - PMETs): For new hires
  • Redeployment (3 months - Rank and File / 6 months - PMETs): For existing employees at immediate or short-term risk of redundancy
  • Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) (3 months duration): For existing employees who required to be reskilled to take on redesigned or new advanced manufacturing related role

CCP- Internationalisation Professionals

Formerly known as Professional Conversion Programme for Southeast Asia Ready Talents (PCP-SEA), the scope of the new CCP-I covers markets such as China, Middle East, South Asia and Africa, in addition to Southeast Asia. CCP-I will also help companies keen to ride on the digitalisation wave to train staff with skills in B2B e-commerce.

CCP-I is offered in three modalities:

  • Place and Train (9 months duration): For new hires
  • Redeployment (6 months duration): For existing employees at immediate or short-term risk of redundancy
  • Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) (3 months duration): For existing employees who required to be reskilled to take on redesigned or new internationalisation related role

CCP- Sustainability Professionals

Globally with the increasing focus on sustainability, more companies are starting to embrace sustainability practices. It is projected that more existing jobs will gradually be created or redesigned into new “green roles” such as carbon management. CCP-S assist companies train individuals to take on new roles or to be reskilled to take on new “green roles” and drive transformation.

CCP-S is offered in two modalities:

  • Place and Train (6 months duration): For new hires
  • Job Redesign/ Reskilling (3 months duration): For existing employees who required to be reskilled to take on redesigned or new sustainability related role
