[Ministerial Dialogue] Sustainability as a Green Growth Engine and Competitive Advantage for Businesses
In support of Forward Singapore, SBF hosted a panel discussion on “Sustainability as a Green Growth Engine and Competitive Advantage for Businesses”.
More than 100 business and industry leaders engaged the panellists on topics such as green growth opportunities for Singapore businesses, support needed for businesses and workers to be part of Singapore’s green transition, and how green financing and policy developments can help to accelerate SMEs’ participation in the green economy.

25 Apr: CIIE Promotion Conference
Since its inauguration in 2018, SBF has been leading Singapore delegations to participate in this signature trade fair held in Shanghai annually. Close to 200 attendees including Ms Zhong Manying, Economic and Commercial Minister-Counsellor at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore, were present at the China's International Import Expo (CIIE) 2023 Promotion Conference co-organised by CIIE Bureau with SBF.
18 Apr: Launch of MAP for Cyber Security and Digital Trust
SBF, in collaboration with CSA, IMDA, and other partners, launched its fourth MAP on Cyber Security and Digital Trust. Graced by Senior Minister of State for Communications and Information Tan Kiat How, the event was attended by nearly 250 participants from 17 sectors, seeking ways to safeguard their businesses against cyber threats.
[In the News] SBF calls for easing of foreign worker measures
SBF is calling on the government to ease foreign worker measures to provide “immediate” relief, particularly for SMEs, which are struggling with manpower cost pressures.
Some suggested measures include pausing the raising of foreign worker levy rates for a few years, removing age-differentiated S Pass salaries and expanding interim measures to allow for more foreign worker housing.
