More than 1,000 business leaders and employees from 40 companies joined the inaugural EmployWell – Walk for Work 2025, flagged off by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam. The event raised over $1.45 million from 22 corporates to support EmployWell, which has helped 900 individuals secure jobs with over 140 inclusive employers since 2022. Participants also explored exhibition booths showcasing inclusive hiring efforts for vulnerable groups. Companies including Micron Semiconductor, SBS Transit, and Stahl Asia Pacific each mobilised more than 100 employees symbolising the business community’s commitment to inclusive employment and collective action for social good.
Support for inclusive hiring continues through Raise for Work, an Inter-Corporate Fundraising Challenge supporting EmployWell. Organisations can rally their teams, contribute to meaningful impact, and stand a chance to win attractive prizes for the Top 3 donors. Challenge ends 30 November — let’s keep changing lives together!
