Senior Executive, Events

We are seeking a Senior Executive to join our International Business Division (IBD) within Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to help Singapore companies Learn, Leads, Land, and Localise overseas. You will be part of the team to support IBD in three key functions: (1) Operational support for events, meetings and overseas trips etc., (2) Support integrated communications, and (3) Support marketing and branding work for our initiatives.

 

Job Responsibilities

1) Operational support for business events, meetings, overseas trips

  • Work closely with market teams to understand their project requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate all necessary pre-project preparations, bookings, logistical arrangements, and liaison with local and foreign service providers.
  • Manage financial processes related to procured services to ensure smooth project execution, including cost comparisons, purchase orders, payments, invoicing, and claims.
  • Prepare project admin materials, briefing, and resources, for participants and actual day event management.

2) Support integrated communication work

  • Support all aspects of internal and external communications including press releases, media relations, social media, website content, email marketing, event support, and photography.
  • Provide support in administering IBD’s LinkedIn page by coordinating timely content contributions from market teams and ensuring content remains updated and engaging.

3) Support marketing and branding work

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns aimed at engaging Singapore and foreign business communities in SBF’s internationalisationinitiatives.
  • Provide support on eDM content editing, design and weekly circulation to our database.

4) Provide support on any other tasks assigned.

 

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Business, Communications, Marketing or equivalent with a minimum two years of relevant working experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms including social media management, email marketing software, and web analytics
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken, including ability and experience in managing stakeholders
