Intern (Marketing and Communications)

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and well-organised Intern (Marketing and Communications) to join our team.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting a range of communications initiatives aimed at enhancing the profile of SBF through social media marketing, media relations and integrated communications campaigns. You will work closely with the team to develop and execute communications strategies that drive engagement and visibility across earned and paid omnichannels, while gaining practical exposure to different aspects of corporate communications.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Social Media Management: Support content creation, scheduling, monitoring, engagement and reporting across SBF’s social media channels.
  • Media Relations: Assist in drafting press materials and media replies, managing logistics and providing on-ground support for media events, as well as daily media monitoring.
  • Integrated Communications Campaigns: Support campaign management, including vetting of content and brand/digital assets, managing project timelines, and liaising with vendors and partners as required.
  • Contribute to the development of SBF’s refreshed corporate video and Annual Report 2026, supporting planning, coordination and production needs.
  • Conduct research and provide insights on industry trends, competitor activities and communications best practices to support communications planning and campaigns.
  • Assist in the coordination of Community of Practice sessions, events and other communications activities, as well as administrative support where required.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Knowledge of video production and graphical design highly valued.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Able to start immediately and commit until Dec 2026, for up to 4 days per week or on a full-time basis.
