CCP for SME Executives (CCP-SME)


The CCP-SME Executives allow Professionals, Managers, Executives, and Technicians (PMETs) seeking to embark on a transformative journey. With its tailored approach, the programme empowers individuals to reskill and seamlessly transition into new roles within the dynamic landscape of SMEs. 

This programme will help PMETs by:

  • Equipping them with new skills to take on new job roles in SMEs
  • Adjust PMETs to SME working environment; and
  • Provide the necessary foundational skills across areas such as human resources, finance, admin and operations, sales and marketing.

CCP-SME Executives cater to New Hires (3 months programme duration).

This CCP only caters to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), which are defined as having employment size of not more than 200; OR annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million. 

    Programme Structure

    icon Eligibility

    Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for WSG funding support:

    • Companies registered or incorporated in Singapore
    • Employment size of not more than 200; OR Annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million
    • Must be able to offer full-time employment with a fixed monthly salary of at least S$2,700 and at least a 12 month employment contract
    • Must put in place structured On-the-Job (OJT) for the candidate
    • Commit to CCP training arrangements for the trainees; and
    • Be committed to work with WSG or its appointed programme partners on the necessary admin matters related to the programme.


    Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs) will need to meet the following criteria for SMEs to be eligible for WSG salary support:

    • Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident who is keen to pursue a full-time career in an SME
    • Have graduated or completed National Service at least 2 years prior at the point of application
    • New job role trained for under the CCP should be substantially different from previous job role; or
    • Has held a similar role previously but was from a non-SME prior to joining the company
    • Must not be connected to the CCP participating company
    • Must not be a shareholder of CCP company or its related companies
    • Must not be related to the owners of the CCP company; and
    • Must not be an immediate ex-staff of the CCP company or related entities

    Application Process

    Please note that we will require around 2 to 3 weeks to review the application after all the necessary information and documents are submitted.

    Complete the relevant application forms and provide the required supporting documents. Refer to the list below of required application documents and supporting documents.  

    1) Latest ACRA (within 6 months)
    2) Supporting Documents to show either Employment size of not more than 200; OR Annual sales turnover of not more than S$100 million
    3) Candidate's latest CV 
    4) Official Job Description on Position
    5) Application Form & Short Description of Conversion
    6) On-the-Job Training (OJT) Development Plan with Trainee Details to be submitted together with the application
    7) Candidate NRIC (Colour Copies front and back)
    8) Signed employment contract of Candidate
    9) Declaration Form

    Note: After the application is approved, company will need to submit the Career Development Plan for the candidate on the 2nd month of the programme.
