ABOUT CCP- Wholesale Trade Professionals and Associates (WTPA)
The CCP-WTPA program provides targeted support to companies experiencing business or process transformations, especially those affecting their wholesale trade operations or functions. The program promotes job redesign by encouraging employers to critically assess, optimize, and enhance the value proposition of key roles like Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Risk Manager, Decision Support Analyst, Operations Assistant, and Procurement Assistant.

CCP-WTPA is offered in two modalities:

  • Place and Train (3 months - Rank and File / 6 months - PMETs): For new hires
  • Job Redesign Reskilling (JRR) (3 months duration): For existing employees who required to be reskilled to take on redesigned or new wholesale trade related role

    Application Process for New Hires

    Application Process for Existing Employees (Job Redesign Reskilling)

    Note: The Job Redesign Reskilling Application will undergo WSG endorsement before the application submission for approval.

    Eligibility Criteria

    ELIGIBILITY

    • The company must be registered/ incorporated in Singapore
    • Candidate must be a minimum of 21 years old with at least 2 years of working experience
    • Candidate must be a new hire or existing employee nominated by an eligible participating company for the CCP
    • Be committed to working with SBF on the necessary administrative matters
    • Offering monthly gross salaries of at least $2,800 (PMET) and/or $2,200 (non-PMET)
    • Candidate should not be shareholder of the participating company or related entities (excluding publicly traded shares in listed companies). 
    • Candidate should not be related to the owners of the participating company

    For New Hires

    • The company must offer the new hire a PMET/ Non-PMET job and issue a valid employment contract.
    • Candidate should not be an immediate ex-staff of the participating company or its related entities.

    For Existing Employees

    • The affected Candidate would need to have at least 1 year of service with the company
    • (Job Redesign/ Reskilling) There must be substantial change between before/ after job role.

    *Job level and salary should not be lower than the previous

    Note: Wholesale Trade companies are encouraged to choose from the whitelisted job roles under the "five tracks" below to reskill staff into at least 1 point of the Main Job Scope after Job Redesign. Wholesale Trade companies may also refer to the fourteen 'Job family' below to develop new training plans for New Hires. 

    Possible technology and additional skills/ competencies are served as references only. Specific job titles may differ across individual companies, and Job Titles may unlikely change (e.g. From Risk Manager to Risk manager with enhanced or enlarged roles after Job Redesign. 

    All CCP applications will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Proposals will be assessed based on the merits of the project and the extensiveness of the job(s) that are being redesigned.
