Funding for BCM and bizSAFE

Companies are urged to tap into the National Business Continuity Management (BCM) Programme $30 million fund for business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives. As the appointed National BCM focal point for businesses in Singapore, SBF will help facilitate your company's BCM journey.

Announced in 2008 by Prof S. Jayakumar, Deputy Prime Minister and then Coordinating Minister for National Security, the BCM initiative aims to strengthen Singapore's national security and provide a stable economic architecture. It will help increase the resilience of businesses, and boost Singapore's status as a trusted business hub.

The funding will enable companies defray part of the costs involved when implementing and obtaining the BCM SS 540:2008 certification. Companies can also tap on the same funding to achieve bizSAFE level 3 while implementing BCM in their organization. The bizSAFE level 3 helps enterprises to comply with the Risk Management Regulations of the Workplace Safety and Health Act, which cover all workplaces from September 2011 onwards.
