Singapore and Korean businessmen interacted during the 2010 Networking Seminar and Business Meeting - Korean ICT Services and Software

Singapore, Tuesday, 7 September 2010 - The Korea International Trade Association (KITA), Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF) and International Enterprise Singapore jointly organized the 2010 Networking Seminar and Business Meeting - Korean ICT Services and Software with more than 100 Singapore participants and Korean SW/IT Service business delegation members.

The Korean SW/IT Service business delegation was on a business mission to Singapore and Vietnam from 6 to 11 September 2010 to facilitate the Korean companies' exposure to Singapore and Vietnam business opportunities and to foster closer business ties among the different countries. The Korean delegates engaged in various business meetings with the Singapore counterparts and potential business partners during the one-to-one business-matching session.

Taking place after the seminar was the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Singapore infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF). KITA was represented by Mr Park Jin-Dal, Executive Managing Director, KITA HQ, while SiTF was represented by Mr Tan Sian Lip, Chairman, eGov Chapter, SiTF, Singapore.

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy from the Republic of Korea was also present at the 2010 Networking Seminar and Business Meeting - Korean ICT Services and Software (7 Sep 2010). Mr Youngjin Song, Deputy Director, Software Policy Division, also witnessed the MOU signing ceremony between KITA and SiTF.
