This process also extends beyond the conclusion of this event. SBF stands ready to assist our interested Singapore companies in their business abroad by linking them up with the relevant economic agencies and business partners in Indonesia."
As Singapore's apex business chamber, SBF has been championing and facilitating the growth of Singapore businesses in overseas markets. Since 2006, SBF has organised several Indonesia-focused activities including two business missions and supported seven business seminars and networking sessions, covering various regions in Indonesia including Jakarta, Batam, Bintan and Karimun. Over 300 SBF members have participated and benefitted from these activities (Please refer to Annex A below for more details).
As a follow up to today's briefing, SBF will be leading a business mission to Jakarta and Java in November 2008, to further deepen business links and engagement between the business communities of Singapore and Indonesia. The mission will enable Singapore businessmen to gain a better understanding of the business environment in these two regions through site visits to the locations of the investment projects.
