1. Who are the members of SBF?
All local and foreign companies registered in Singapore that have a paid-up capital or authorized share capital of $0.5 million and above respectively are members of the SBF. Today, SBF has over 15,000 members and these represent the top 20% of companies in Singapore. 14 of the major chambers of commerce and business associations in Singapore are also our constituent members.
2. What are the benefits of joining SBF?

3. Can companies not covered by the SBF Act join SBF?
SBF Membership is open to any business organization. Companies that are not covered by the SBF Act may join SBF as an Associate Member.
4. When is Subscription fee due?
The annual subscription fee shall be paid to SBF yearly in advance on or before 1st January of every Official Year.
5. How can Statutory Members of SBF get exemption?
On the recommendation of the SBF council and the endorsement of the Board of Trustees, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has enacted the SBF (Exemption) Order to annually exempt from mandatory SBF membership any local or foreign company which satisfies the Council that it did not or does not
have any employees during a specific period. SBF subscription fees is due yearly, a company which qualifies for membership exemption needs to apply for such exemption annually by the stipulated deadline. Exemption forms can be downloaded here
