Association of Banks in Singapore

The Association of Banks in Singapore (ABS) plays an active role in promoting and representing the interests of the banking community in Singapore. ABS also works closely with the authorities in supporting their role in developing and maintaining a sound financial system in Singapore. Established in 1973, it has over the past 30 years, brought its members together, establishing common grounds through benchmarking and setting banking guidelines as well as working on projects of mutual benefit to face the challenges of the financial and banking community in Singapore. Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) is
an internationally renowned business organisation with a membership network comprising 119 trade associations
and some 4,000 corporate entities and professionals. Its ongoing activities continually update the business
community on developments and trends in existing and new markets, and the Chamber also runs an eBizcommunity for direct communication and product promotion among members. It is the founder of the biennial World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention and operates a business networking portal, the World Chinese Business Network (WCBN) for global sourcing of business contacts. The Chamber is also one of the first to establish an educational arm, the Singapore Chinese
Chamber Institute of Business, to provide training and upgrading opportunities for the business community.
Its newly-established Enterprise Development Centre (EDC@SCCCI) will be a business and consulting service
arm to assist enterprises in building capabilities and enhancing competitiveness.

Singapore Contractors Association Ltd

The Singapore Contractors Association Ltd (SCAL), formed in 1937, has grown in strength and representation with almost 2,000 members, making the Association the official representative body of the construction industry in Singapore.
SCAL is well represented in numerous policy-making committees of professional bodies as well as of those set up by the government. SCAL is affiliated to various regional and international bodies whose objectives are shared by SCAL, fostering fellowship and co-operation among builders and to facilitate the exchange of technology and information among member countries.
Organisations that are closely affiliated to SCAL include the International Federation of Asian & Western Pacific Contractors' Associations (IFAWPCA), Confederation of International Contractors' Association (CICA) and the ASEAN Constructors Federation (ACF). SCAL further receives foreign trade delegations and participates in conferences with an international thrust.
SCAL is also fully committed to provide our members with a wide range of support from upgrading and updating fellow members on the latest construction practices and regulation to administrative assistance. 3 subsidiaries, namely, SC2, SCAL Resources and SCAL Academy, were incorporated to provide a holistic approach for the betterment of our members.
SC2 Pte Ltd is the first firm in Singapore to provide the construction industry with a full range of safety consultancy services.
SCAL Resources Pte Ltd (SCR) affords the industry with reliable and value-added service in the selection and recruitment of both local and foreign workers.
SCAL Academy conducts courses, seminars and workshops for training employees in the industry.

Association of Small and Medium Enterprises

The Association of Small & Medium Enterprises is a not-for-profit organisation that welcomes all in the entrepreneurial community into its membership. With a wide array of business-centric activities, services and programmes, ASME is well-poised to facilitate the growth and development of a larger pool of SMEs in Singapore.
Pioneered by a group of entrepreneurs in 1986, the Association has grown from strength to strength and remains one of the foremost champions of the Singapore pro-enterprise movement. Today, ASME continues to work closely with both the public and the private sectors to ensure that businesses in Singapore can operate in a conducive and fair environment.
With the entrepreneur and his business in mind, ASME is dedicated to playing a pivotal role in creating a robust business ecosystem that is favourable to the success of SMEs. Singapore Hotel Association

As the umbrella body for hotels in Singapore, the mission of the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) is "To be the collective voice of Singapore's hotel industry and promote the interest of members with the common objective of advancing sustainable growth."
The SHA Secretariat which is headed by its Executive Director, Ms Margaret Heng, reports directly to the SHA Board.

The Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) is an
active and highly respected member of trade and industry related bodies in Singapore. With roots going back

Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry

The Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce was incorporated on 28 July 1956 under the Companies Act of the Republic of Singapore with its liability limited by guarantees. It was formed by a group of Malay businessmen with the aim to assist and cooperate with one another and exchange information for mutual benefits. Membership gradually expanded with the acceptance of the Muslim business community from the other races to join SMCCI as full members.
Its name was subsequently changed to the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI) on 30 November 1995. It is known in Malay as Dewan Perniagaan dan Perusahaan Melayu Singapura (DPPMS) or more popularly referred to as Dewan. The New SMCCI was inaugurated on 14 February 2004 with its vision as “Entrepreneurial excellence in a globalised economy” and its mission as “Nurturing a vibrant and successful entrepreneurial culture in meeting the challenges of globalization”

Singapore Manufacturers’ Federation (SMa)

The Singapore Manufacturers' Federation (SMa) was first established in 1932 by 17 pioneering manufacturers with the objective of representing the interests of Singapore manufacturers. Over the years, as Singapore's manufacturing sector became one of the main pillars of the economy, SMa became its leading advocate.
With a membership of over 2,800 corporate members that range from MNCs to SMEs, we carry out a host of activities that aim to enhance the competitive edge of our members. Among them are business matching events, trade missions, networking sessions, seminars & conferences, and dialogues with the government agencies.
SMa has developed five Centres of Excellence. They are the e-Supply Chain Management (eSCM) Assessment Programme, the GS1 Singapore Council, the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC@SMa), the SMa School of Management, and the SMa Centre for Corporate Learning. Visit website for more details.
