Survey on Budget 2011/12 Key Findings
The Budget 2011 was announced on 22nd February, with 2 key objectives - Growing incomes for all Singaporeans and Strengthening our society. New initiatives and tax measures, as well as enhancement were introduced to help support companies to invest in workers’ skills and productivity, boost assistance for companies venturing overseas and entrench high-value economic clusters in Singapore
The SBF Members’ Survey & Feedback Unit conducted a survey on Budget 2011 over a period from 2 June to 15 June 2011 to find out how members felt about this year’s Budget. The survey was divided into 3 parts: Helping companies with rising costs, Boosting skills & Productivity and Supporting Enterprise growth.
A total of 524 companies took part in the survey.
