Rising to the challenge of driving businesses to attain long term sustainable development goals is an imperative for the business community in Singapore. A sustainable business model can be the competitive advantage which sets your business apart in the green economy ahead.
The Inaugural Singapore Sustainability Awards aims to honour businesses with outstanding sustainable business practices and green business solutions that encompass all three economic, social and environmental dimensions, to achieve the common goal of a sustainable future for one and all.
It comprises the Outstanding Sustainability Awards and Green IT Awards:
Outstanding Sustainability Awards
The Outstanding Sustainability Awards (OSA) are co-presented by SBF and Local Global Exhibition & Trade Pte Ltd with KPMG in Singapore as the Knowledge Partner, and supported by International Enterprise Singapore, Spring Singapore, ACCA Singapore, the British High Commission, Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The OSA honours businesses which embrace holistic green business solutions that encompass the economic, social and environmental dimensions. It aims to strengthen Singapore’s position as a hub for Sustainable Development solutions to fuel business growth and new market opportunities in the sector.
Green IT Awards
The inaugural Green IT Awards are jointly presented by SBF, IBM Singapore and Institute of Technical Education (ITE) as the education and training partner, as well as Frost & Sullivan as Knowledge Partner. The awards confer recognition to Singapore-based enterprises with outstanding sustainable IT practices which meet the needs of business, ecology and society.
The Green IT Awards are also supported by Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (iDA), National Environment Agency (NEA), ACCA Singapore, Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME), the British High Commission, IT Management Association of Singapore (ITMA), Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SiTF), Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI), Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) and Singapore Compact for CSR.
