Public Consultation On Income Tax (Amendment) Bill 2012
The Ministry of Finance has launched a public consultation exercise on 24 July 2012 to invite comments on the draft amendments to the Income Tax Act. These amendments seek to give legislative effect to the tax changes announced in the Budget 2012 statement, as well as non-Budget tax changes that arise from on-going reviews of our income tax system. We would like to invite you and your organisation to participate in this consultation exercise.
The draft Income Tax (Amendment) Bill 2012, consultation guidelines and the summary tables explaining the proposed amendments to the Income Tax Act, are available at MOF's website, www.mof.gov.sg. The consultation exercise will run from 24 July 2012 to 13 August 2012.
