ASEAN Mid-Term Review Study


ASEAN Mid-Term Review Study

To further improve the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Scorecard, the ASEAN Economic Ministers (AEM) have tasked the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) to take a mid-term review of the AEC Blueprint. Important sectors of the study are service liberalisation, trade and investment facilitation, standards and conformance, intellectual property rights in the ASEAN countries.

For Singapore section of the study, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) is gathering information from firms in Singapore on their experience on these sectors. SBF is supporting the study and would appreciate the participation of businesses in Singapore - please refer to the attached letter from SIIA and the survey forms relevant to the respective sectors. Responses will be kept confidential and should reach SIIA by 19 Dec 2011.
