Productivity Improvement Programme

-Empowering Efficiency & Excellence (3E)-
The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) and Singapore Business Federation (SBF) are collaborating in a productivity programme to help companies to improve productivity and quality at work.
It helps companies to carry business process improvement in key areas that impact costs, cycle-time, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. It looks at cutting down ineffective processes, and/or establishing structured and effective processes to deliver improved quality and productivity at work.
Enhanced Funding for SMEs
Effective 1 July 2012, there is enhanced funding of 90% for SMEs. SMEs are defined as organisations incorporated or registered in Singapore, with an employment size of not more than 200.

The company is successfully improved its plate heat exchangers serving time with Productivity Improvement of more than 15%. The company is competitive in serving its clients better and faster.
Winson Press Pte Ltd
The company is effectively enhanced its order processing time with Productivity Improvement of 59.7%. It allows the company to increase its capacity and to serve its clients faster.

NexMU is established by the core group of Senior Managers and experience trainers from Motorola University (MU) after MU’s decision to exit from the external business worldwide in Jan’11. Every core trainer has at least 13 years of Six Sigma experience. Some of the company’s clients include BASF Malaysia, CIMB, City Gas Singapore, Deutsche Bank, Jurong Shipyard Pte Ltd, Ministry of Health Malaysia, Schlumberger Singapore, Sime Darby, Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing, Triumph Body Fashion and more.

Original Fee per project = $18,000
Net Fee per project = $1,800 (after 90% WDA funding, excl of GST) – SMEs*
Net Fee per project = $5,400 (after 70% WDA funding, excl of GST) – Non SMEs
*SMEs are eligible for 90% of the WDA funding for 3E programme with effect from 1 July 2012 onwards. SMEs are defined as organisations incorporated or registered in Singapore, with an employment size of not more than 200
