The Malaysian Government has over the last few years undertaken various reforms and liberalisation initiatives with a view to improve the country’s business climate and competitiveness. The Forum will discuss how Malaysia and Singapore can leverage on these initiatives to enhance the strategic partnership between the two countries and how individual businesses can benefit from this.
The Forum will be conducted in a Panel Discussion format with Minister Dato’ Seri Mustapa Mohamed, Chief Minister Dato’ Abdul Ghani Othman, Minister Lim Hng Kiang, and Mr Tony Chew, SBF Chairman on the panel. The two Singaporean companies which have significant operations in Malaysia will chip in with their experience of doing business in Malaysia.
The panel discussion will be moderated by Ms. Lorraine Hahn who has been a talk show host at CNN, CNBC and other TV and radio stations. She will engage the speakers intensively to pick their minds on the various issues between the two nations and Asia as a whole vis-a-vis the turmoil going on in Europe and America.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage the speakers during the Q&A session and plenty of opportunity to network with the speakers as well as the business and government delegations from Malaysia.
