The 3-day intensive training course will enable course participant to obtain the critical knowledge of business continuity planning and the SS540:2008 BCM standard requirement. The SS540 BCM framework which includes policies, processes, people and infrastructure components crossed against BCM areas of risk, business impact analysis, strategies, BC plan, tests and exercise and program management will be examined in details. The course will benefit participant to gain common knowledge of BCM and to communicate at all levels within their entity and to external authorities. Participants will learn the different types of plans including emergency response plan as well as IT DR plan. Sample templates will be distributed for participants to jump start their organization’s BCM system. Course Outline SS540 and the principles of business continuity management will include topics on definition, business continuity organization and responsibilities, risk assessment, business impact analysis, recovery time objective (RTO), critical business function (CBF) and minimum business continuity objective (MBCO) and the emergency response, crisis management and BCM program management. Who Should Attend? BCM coordinators at all levels, critical infrastructure operators, services and supply chain related companies.
