Indonesia is South East Asia’s biggest economy, and a strong contender as the next stop for your business expansion plans. This year, the country’s economy is expected to grow 6.5%, an increase from the 6.1% growth recorded in 2010. Fitch Ratings also raised its outlook on Indonesia’s local and foreign currency debt to one step below investment grade, citing favourable macroeconomic prospects which will strengthen its credit profile. This has paved the way for Indonesia’s sovereign rating to be upgraded to investment grade within the next twelve months, which would see increased foreign investment capital flowing into the country. During this business forum, the framework for bilateral cooperation will be launched and participants would get to hear first hand about this new initiative to aid them in their investment activities in Indonesia. KADIN Chairman Bapak Suryo Bambang Sulisto will be the keynote speaker for this special event, giving his insight on the business and investment opportunities in Indonesia. Other honourable speakers include representatives from the public, private and academic sectors, presenting the latest economy updates, regulatory framework and business opportunities.
