The Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) present the inaugural Ukraine-Singapore Business Forum 2011. This forum is organised in conjunction with the visit of H.E. Viktor Yanukovych, President of Ukraine and his esteemed delegation of senior government officials and elite businessmen.

The forum aims to bring to you the latest developments and opportunities in Ukraine and support you in establishing useful contacts with Ukrainian businessmen and government officials.

About Ukraine
Ukraine is the second largest country in Europe, strategically position at the crossroads between Europe and Asia. Its population ranks fifth in Europe and twenty-first in the world. It has the largest consumer market in Eastern Europe and is an ideal platform for manufacturing and export in Russia and EU.

Ukraine and Singapore have launched negotiations for a bilateral Free Trade Agreement (FTA) in 2007, which is a testament to the growing economic relations between the two countries.

The Investment Guarantee Agreement (IGA) and an Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) were also signed between the two countries in September 2006 and January 2007 respectively, to encourage and facilitate cross-border trade and investment between Singapore and Ukraine.
