The Singapore Business Federation (SBF), together with Turkey’s Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) would like to invite our Singapore companies to participate in the business seminar on Turkey as a hub to Eastern Europe and Middle East region.

The seminar aims to highlight the latest economic developments and emerging sectors in Turkey and provide the business community with an update on the business environment, potential business & trade opportunities, and operational strategies for the market. Based on feedback from the business community, the Turkish market is known to be a good sourcing hub for raw materials, textile & leather manufacturing and handicrafts and increasingly expanding to their automotive aftermarket and ICT industry. These sectors present good opportunities for Singapore traders. Turkey’s economic and commercial relations with Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Middle East also present a partnership proposition for Singaporean companies interested in engaging the markets of the surrounding countries.

With the vast potential of Turkey, SBF, together with DEIK, have established a bilateral business council to benefit the business communities from both countries. Like-minded businessmen could raise challenges/issues encountered when doing business in these regions; identify potential partners, support and advocate for businesses, aside from the networking platform.
