IE Singapore and Singapore Business Federation (SBF) are jointly organising the iadvisory Seminar Series on Trade and Business Opportunities in Bangladesh, to explore the trade and business opportunities in Bangladesh.

Do you know that Singapore’s total trade with Bangladesh was more than S$2 billion in 2010? Are you aware that Singapore ranks among Bangladesh’s top 10 foreign investors?

Bangladesh represents immense potential in South Asia. It experienced a growth rate of 5.9% in 2009 despite the credit crunch and is expected to grow by another 6.0% in 2010. With 60% of the population below 25, the country has one of the largest low-cost and young labour force in the region.

Singapore is Bangladesh’s 9th largest foreign investor and many large Singapore companies like SingTel and ST have done business there. Singapore’s trade with Bangladesh is also significant. From 2008 to 2010, total trade crossed the S$2B mark despite the global downturn.

Join us at the iadvisory Seminar Series on Trade and Business Opportunities in Bangladesh, to explore the trade and business opportunities in Bangladesh.

Jointly organised by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and the Bangladesh High Commission, the seminar will bring you valuable insights through Bangladeshi businessmen and government officials, into the business opportunities and challenges in Bangladesh with a focus on the most promising sectors: Infrastructure, Manufacturing and IT/ ICT.
