With effect from September 2011, the Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) scope will be EXTENDED to cover ALL workplaces.

Although with lower fatality rates in the service, hospitality and retail industries, accidents such as slips, cuts, burns, exposure to hazardous chemicals and fires could still happen. Ergonomic and health issues are also common due to poor postures and lifting/handling techniques.
