Overview of the CAEXPO

The China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO), co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China and the respective ministries of trade and industry of the 10 ASEAN countries as well as the ASEAN Secretariat; and organized by the People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang Automous Region of China, is an international trade event held annually in Nanning, Guangxi, China since 2004.

Since 2004, the CAEXPO has been concluded with great success for 6 consecutive years. Driven by the full support of governments of China and the 10 ASEAN countries and backed by the huge market and favorable policies of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area (CAFTA), the CAEXPO has gained positive comments from both the political and business communities of China and ASEAN countries, and has emerged as a superb platform for bilateral cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and tourism.
