The Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) have been in force since 2006. The current scope of the WSH Act covers all factories and certain workplaces.

With effect from September 2011, the scope of WSH Act will be EXTENDED to ALL workplaces. Do you know how your business will be affected and what you need to do to prepare for it? Do you know what will happen to your business, if your employees or customers are injured due to an accident in your place of work or business?

Is your workplace safe for your employees and customers? What are the implications to your business with the extension of the Work Safety & Health (WSH) Act?

The best way to prevent workplaces accidents is to be prepared for it. Being prepared for nasty surprises prevents business disruption. Risk management is a systematic approach to reducing risk posed by hazards. The WSH (Risk Management) Regulations requires risk assessment to be carried out and reasonably practicable measures are taken to eliminate foreseeable risks. Persons exposed to such risks are to be informed of the risks and control measures.

This half day seminar aims to provide an overview on-
1) How to prevent and minimise accidents in the workplace
