Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Finance announced the 2010 Singapore Budget Statement on 22 February 2010.
Budget 2010 introduces new measures to enhance Singapore's growth potential by increasing productivity and enabling our companies to take advantage of the opportunities in the new landscape after the economic crisis.
The Government will be devoting significant resources to implement the strategies recommended by the Economic Strategies Committee (ESC) and push ahead longer term infrastructural and social investments. The key thrusts of FY2010 Budget are: i) growing our incomes through skills and innovation; ii) growing globally competitive companies; and iii) including everyone in growth.
SBF together with SNEF are pleased to organise a seminar on Budget 2010 for our members. We have invited speakers from CIMB-GK Research and RSM Chio Lim to share with our members the impact of budget 2010 on the Singapore economy and the 2010 budget highlights.
All members are urged to attend this important seminar.
