The Implementing Regulations for the Employment Contract Law of the People's Republic of China (Regulations) were promulgated by the State Council (as Decree No. 535) on
18 September 2008. These Regulations comprise 38 provisions, interpreting and supplementing the provisions of the Employment Contract Law (ECL), thereby improving it and introducing various new concepts to enhance its implementation.
This workshop is a must for in-house counsel and HR directors/managers to learn and understand the implications and application of the law to existing and future PRC employment contracts

About the Workshop Leader
Isabelle Wan is the leader of the TransAsia employment law practice and co-leader of the intellectual property practice. She is a graduate of the Peking University School of Law (LL.M with High Distinction; LL.D candidate in Intellectual Property Law), and has 16 years’ experience advising clients on direct investments in China. Isabelle enjoys a pre-eminent reputation for her expertise in PRC employment law, her practice covers: employment contracts, employee handbooks, non-competition and confidentiality agreements, social security and welfare benefits, termination and retrenchment, stock options, expatriate employment and labor dispute resolution (mediation, arbitration and litigation). Isabelle is also well-known for her expertise in e-commerce, in which area she specializes in digital signature and privacy policy.
