About the Workshop Leaders
Bolivia Cheung advises multinational clients on taxation, customs duty and business regulations in respect of the structure of investment and assists clients in developing business activities in China. In relation to PRC Individual Income Tax, she also advises multinational companies on China employer obligations, tax effective remuneration structuring for senior executives and effective individual tax planning for multinational and international clients, in particular, stock options and cross-border charges and remittance of salaries. Bolivia has written articles on taxation and customs issues for various journals. She is also a regular speaker on PRC business and tax issues.
Kenny Chiu joins KPMG in year 2000 and now is a Tax Manager in KPMG Guangzhou. Kenny has extensive experiences in advising multinational clients on PRC taxation, foreign exchange control and business matters. His experience includes advice on a number of substantial group restructuring in China, merger and acquisition, and pre-acquisition due diligence assistance engagements. Kenny is specialized in Industrial Markets and has assisted a number of multinational clients in their restructuring and business expansion in Southern China.
