The challenges of conducting business in a modern, globalised economy are compelling finance departments to transform from efficient managers of transactions into ‘business visionaries’. CFOs are moving beyond the traditional transactional management role to bring greater value to the table. Indeed, today’s organisations expect more from their CFOs to be active members of the senior management and contribute to the overall business direction and strategy.

In view of this, a distinguished line-up of financial leaders and industry experts are convened to share with us through panel discussions and presentations the topical issues close at heart to CFOs. This forum will also discuss how CFOs can manage their organisation by adopting a holistic approach through focusing on the organisation’s characteristics such as value drivers, business models, treasury needs and talent management, in an increasing competitive environment.

The confirmed presenters and panellists include:
  • Mr Chia Nam Toon, Chief Financial Officer, Ascendas Pte Ltd
