The Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) will be extended to cover all workplaces in Singapore by September 2011. Is your business safe and ready?

Held for the 3rd consecutive year, this annual event gives an opportunity to SMEs to learn from bizSAFE enterprises about their safety journey - how they have made safety an integral part of their business, driving productivity with WSH innovations, and why excellent WSH performance makes business sense for them. This Convention is also timely for companies to gather information to help them meet statutory requirements for workplace safety when WSHA is extended to cover all workplaces by September 2011.

Proper WSH management is a core component of any company looking for longevity and prosperity in their business. Those who do not know how to embark on a safety journey can tap on bizSAFE, a 5-step systematic programme developed by the WSH Council to help SMEs build WSH capability and strengthen their WSH management system.

Customised workshops to meet different needs
In conjunction with this Convention, a series of bizSAFE Level 1 workshops (in both English and Mandarin) are offered free for attending companies’ CEOs and top management. SMEs already at varying stages of bizSAFE programme can also sign up for the ‘Talk on Managing Workplace Risks’ or the workplace visit.
