About the Speakers

Mr Ted Tan, Deputy Chief Executive, SPRING Singapore. SPRING Singapore is the enterprise development agency for growing innovative companies and fostering a competitive SME sector. Mr Victor Tay, COO of Singapore Business Federation. Prior to joining SBF, Victor was a Director with SPRING Singapore looking after the development of key industries ranging from Transport, Logistics, Environmental and Engineering Services, Biomedical and Healthcare, Chemicals, Education and Business Services. He also assists in strengthening growth-oriented enterprises across the spectrum of finance, land, technology and management resource needs. Before his stint with the public services, Victor had been a management consultant advising multinationals in the high-tech sector in Asia Pacific region. He was based in Greater China for 3 years and had worked with 3 of the big 5 management consultancy firms, namely PricewaterhouseCoopers, Coopers and Lybrand and KPMG Peat Marwick Management Consultants.

Mr Thoo Chee Leong, Director. Stone Forest M&A is a member of Chio Lim Stone Forest (CLSF) Group, a leading accounting and business advisory group established in Singapore since 1985. The company provides services in accounting, audit, tax, restructuring, IPO, corporate risk advisory, corporate secretarial and fiduciary services, and IT consultancy.

Mr Charles Chen, Managing Director. FoodNet Consultants Pte Ltd is a specialist trainer and food safety management system consultant serving food manufacturers, supermarkets and food services in Singapore, Malaysia and China since 1998. With years of track record in the industry, our consultants are equipped with food safety know-how, experience and practical implementation techniques that have helped numerous organisations (directly and indirectly in the food chain) achieve the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and/or the ISO 22000:2005 Food Safety Management System.
