The new and improved edition of ISO 9004 : 2009, Managing for the sustained success of an organisation - A quality management approach, is published in October 2009. Singapore had promptly adopted this international standard as a Singapore Standard in November 2009. This new edition provides guidance for the continual improvement of an organisation's overall performance, efficiency and effectiveness based on a process-based approach.
