Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is pleased to support the Turkish Buying Mission Programme: Food-Tech 2009.

The Istanbul Food-Tech 2009 is the 5th Food Technology and Food Safety Fair and it will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from 17 - 20 December 2009. The Turkish Buying Mission programme is hence, organised in conjunction to complement the Trade Fair.

Istanbul Food-Tech 2009 is a one-stop buying platform for the companies involved in food & drink technology, quality control, automation, filling and packaging, refrigeration and ventilation, production and processing, food additives and ingredients, hygiene and food safety, food machinery, storage and logistics, environmental technology and biotechnology as well as research and development.

The objective of the buying programme is to introduce ‘new’ importers to the Turkish market and provides opportunities for exchange in the area of technology and safety in the food-related industry. Participants will also be briefed on the economic and commercial opportunities present in Turkey and will have ample opportunities to make bilateral meetings with the Turkish counterparts. The Istanbul Exporters’ Association will be organising visits to the various facilities and tours exploring the vibrant city of Istanbul for participants of this mission.
