Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is pleased to support the Turkish Buying Mission Programme: FOOD 2009 and IPACK 2009 Exhibitions.

The 17th International Food Products and Processing Technologies Exhibition (FOOD 2009) will be held concurrently with the 24th International Packaging and Food Processing Systems Exhibition (IPACK 2009) in Istanbul, Turkey from 2nd – 5th December 2009. The Turkish Buying Mission programme is hence, organised in conjunction with and to complement these exhibitions.

Turkey is one of the largest producers and exporters of agricultural products especially in the Eastern Europe region. Turkey’s agricultural export, together with its high quality agro-industrial products has reached US $10 billion products in recent years.

This mission aims to provide opportunities for commercial and strategic cooperation between food manufacturers and buyers, additional to meeting packaging and food processing systems companies along the value chain. Participants will be briefed on the economic and commercial opportunities present in Turkey and will have ample opportunities to make bilateral meetings with the Turkish counterparts. The mission encompasses visits to the various facilities and tours exploring the vibrant city of Istanbul.
