The Public-Private Partnership in Supply Chain Security seminar will showcase how Singapore, through cooperation between industry and government, has achieved the highest number of companies in the world participating in both the World Customs Organisation (WCO) SAFE Framework of Standards AEO scheme through the Singapore Customs’ Secure Trade Partnership (STP) programme and the International Supply Chain Security Standard ISO 28000. Industry players, ranging from SMEs to MNCs, will be sharing on how the adoption of standards, such as ISO 28000 and STP, has enhanced their supply chain security. These standards have also helped them to achieve market differentiation, giving them competitive advantage and improving their bottom-line. The Singapore Logistics Association will also be launching the Practitioner's Definitive Guide: Safety & Security. The guide seeks to promote best practices in safety and security to minimise the likelihood of disruption to the supply chain from security threats.
