Each year, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) disburses about US$9 billion worth of grants and loans to finance developmental projects for developing countries in Asia. In 2007, these projects translated into some 82 procurement and consulting contracts and infrastructure investment opportunities worth US$10.1 billion. This presents a new channel of business opportunities in the region for contractors, consultants, and investors, especially during the current challenging times.
This workshop will provide insights into how the ADB works, and guide Singapore-based companies on how to compete successfully for contracts worth billions of dollars resulting from the Bank's financing throughout the Asia Pacific region.
This seminar will highlight:
How to identify business opportunities with ADB
ADB's Procurement and Consulting processes and procedures
Tips for winning contracts
Case studies of specific procurement bids
How to tap on ADB Private Sector lending and financial products
Companies will also have the opportunity to have one-to-one meetings* with the relevant ADB procurement / sector specialists to discuss about specific issues and challenges faced.
