BACKGROUND The Singapore Business Federation (SBF), supported by International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city (SSTEC), SingCham and Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), is organizing a business mission covering Beijing, Tianjin, Hangzhou and Shanghai to allow Singapore companies to target green and sustainable urban solutions in China. Highlights of the mission include visit to Hangzhou Singapore Eco-Park, 2010 Shanghai World Expo, Tianjin Binhai New Area Eco-Expo and Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City.

Briefings by local government officials, site visits, business networking and 1-to-1 business matching sessions, and other business programmes will be specially arranged.

Being the first World Exposition on the theme of city, Shanghai World Expo 2010 will attract governments and people from across the world, focusing on the theme "Better City, Better Life." Exhibition:
There are excellent exhibition opportunities for our Singapore companies. The local government will subsidize the booth space costs for the entire 28 Sep - 3 Oct period, and companies only need to pay expenses related to the booth set-up, production of exhibition materials, freighting, etc.

A Singapore pavilion is organized by SBF with Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city (SSTEC). Non-exhibitors will also get complimentary access to the expo which will be attended by Singapore government ministers
