The
Singapore Business Federation (SBF) is bringing a Singapore delegation to GLOBE 2010, the International Conference and Trade Fair on the business of Energy and the Environment to be held in Vancouver, Canada from 22 - 26 Mar 2010. The mission is supported by the
High Commission of Canada's Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), Canada-Singapore Business Association, IE Singapore and SPRING Singapore, and the delegation will also include govt agency representatives from EMA, IE Singapore & PUB.

GLOBE is one of the world's largest and most prestigious events dedicated to the business of energy and the environment attracting over 10,000 professionals from around the world every two years since 1990. Canada’s Minister of the Environment Jim Prentice; Alberta's Minister of Environment Rob Renner; and Austria's Minister for Environment Mr. Berlakovich (also covering Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management) have already confirmed their participation in GLOBE 2010, while Canada's Minister of Natural Resources Lisa Raitt has done so informally. Ministers from British Columbia + other Provinces & US States are also expected, as per past events.
