The Singapore Business Federation (SBF), supported by IE Singapore, SingCham and Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), is organizing a Business Mission to Beijing, Tianjin, Baoding and Wuxi from 14 - 19 September 2009, which will coincide with the
first anniversary of Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city as well as the China International New Energy Expo 2009.
The main purpose of the mission is to allow Singapore companies to explore clean, efficient and green opportunities in China, especially in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city, in Baoding and Wuxi, and through participation in the China International New Energy Expo. Briefings by local government officials, business networking and matching sessions, site visits to local companies and other business programmes will be specially arranged for you.

China is ranked in the world's top 3 in terms of solar energy, wind energy, hydropower and CDM projects. With Chinese government actively looking at opportunities in the clean and green sector, there are abundant business and investment opportunities in this sector.
About Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (SSTEC)
The Tianjin Eco-City is a landmark bilateral project between China and Singapore governments with private-sector investment and development. Located in the Tianjin Binhai New Area (40 km from Tianjin city centre), the 30km2 Tianjin Eco-City is developed by Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City (SSTEC), that is jointly led by Tianjin TEDA Investment Holding of China and Keppel Group of Singapore.
