As prescribed by the SBF Act 2001, the Board of Trustees is responsible for ensuring that the SBF acts in furtherance of its objects, the funds and assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded, and council members are fit and proper to hold office.
The Minister for Trade & Industry has appointed Mr. Sat Pal Khattar, Chairman of Khattar Holding Group, as the Chairman. Fang Ai Lian, Chairman of Great Eastern Holdings Limited, and Theresa Foo-Yo Mie Yoen, Chairman of BNP Paribas Capital (Singapore) Ltd, are the other two members of the Board.
