To build on the progress that APEC and ABAC are making towards achieving the Bogor Goals, it is in the interest of the business community in the Asia-Pacific region to foster greater connectivity and establish direct links with one another.

In the pipeline is to establish an APEC Business Community, a database of businesses across the Asia-Pacific whereby buyers and sellers can linkup for business deals and project facilitation without the need for a middleman. To be driven by the Singapore Business Federation, this platform will enable local businesses to tap into this valuable resource to establish links with other businesses in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby creating new market opportunities and business growth.
